The Lindens is set at the junction of The Burgage and New Barn Lane. Built in the late 18th or early 19th century in ashlar under a concrete tile roof. Listed, grade II, with details at: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1091914 The village of Prestbury, occupied since Saxon times, is some 1½ miles northeast of the town of Cheltenham, which it once rivalled as a commercial centre. The village is reputed to be one of the most haunted places in Britain.

Linden Cottage, The Burgage, is a 17th century cottage, originally detached but now joined to The Lindens Image Between stone gables and under an artificial stone slate roof, the construction is square-panelled timber-framing with painted brick noggin. The cottage was heightened and the brick wall above the first floor windows is painted to imitate timber framing. Glebe Road, Prestbury, 2
1930's council housing to cater for Cheltenham's expansion in the 20th century. The Glebe was presumably a meadow with ribbon development along the outer road edges. The small estate seems to have quite rightly utilised the feature of pre-existing trees to form a cul-de-sac with a square turn-around.
