Like many of the properties on Parabola Road this is an imposing building which is now used as offices.

Now used as offices, Hadley House in Bayshill Road was built circa 1840. There have been later additions and alterations, including a circa 1960 rear range. Constructed of stuccoed brick under a slate roof, with an iron balustrade. Bayshill Road has been described as 'one of the great roads for architecture in all England'. After the discovery of mineral springs in 1716 Cheltenham became a spa town and many Regency houses and other buildings were erected. The town is home to the renowned Cheltenham Festival, four days of horse jump racing culminating in the Gold Cup, held annually in March at the nearby racecourse.

The Hotel Du Vin in Cheltenham is situated on Parabola Road, if my memory is correct I think this used be the Carlton Hotel. When working in Cheltenham back in the late 1970s I regularly used to park on this road. Parking is much more difficult now.

The Church of Christ, Scientist was founded in 1879 in Boston, Massachusetts, by Mary Baker Eddy. This church is on Bayshill Road in Cheltenham.

The 1970s theatre extension to the semi-detached villas, Bayshill House and Lingwood House, now the Parabola Arts Centre, part of Cheltenham Ladies College. The house was used as an Auxiliary Hospital during the Great War and is now used by Cheltenham Ladies College.
