These 1930s art deco style apartment block on Suffolk Square are on the site of what was Suffolk House. Suffolk House was built in 1808 as the home of the Earl of Suffolk; the house was demolished in the 1930s, making way for the present flats. Before Suffolk House, this was farmland with Galipot Farm standing on this site.

A good crisp Ionic porticoed villa, one of a sequence on the street's east side. Built c1830, probably by Edward Jenkins. Grade II listed. Like the others it has been converted into offices.
