Brookthorpe services, Gloucester
A recently built Motorway Service Area on the M5. The main building which has 4000 square metres of turf-covered roof, does not have chain coffee shops or fast food outlets.
It opened in 2014.

Gloucester Services (Northbound)
New service areas on the M5 have been inserted between Michael Wood, at the Bristol end, and Strensham at the Worcester end. Note the ecological construction illustrated by the turfed roof. Further site development and planting is in progress but a Farm Shop is in full operation within the main concourse.
