Severn Bore, having just passed Severn Bore Inn
8:56am 15 seconds. The bore wave's power could be seen as it frequently hit obstacles on the bank and splashed brown muddy water into the air. One of the boats seen in front of the wave clearly had a film crew on board and were seen filming both the bore's effects and surfers on the wave. The film crew turned out to be the BBC's Countryfile and they were about to film presenter Matt Baker on his third attempt at catching the wave on a surfboard.
