Maisemore Bridge
The bridge carries the A417, and incidentally the Three Choirs Way, across the western arm of the River Severn to Alney Island. It dates from 1956 http://www.brantacan.co.uk/severn_arches.htm and is the first arch bridge upstream of the mouth; "this bridge cannot be photographed properly without a boat". I'd concur with that, but this is an attempt.

Maisemore Bridge, Maisemore
Stone-faced concrete, built in 1956 by Harold Stratton Davis. A nearby plaque records that this is at least the sixth bridge on the site, the earliest probably dating back to c1230. It carries the A417 over the Severn.
