Twyning and the M5 from the air
The village of Twyning is on the far left, Fleet Farm Caravan Site can be seen just to the right of the village. The large white roof just to the right of centre is the Coventry Water Works at Strensham. Water is taken from the River Severn near Upton-upon-Severn, treated here and then pumped to the top of nearby Bredon Hill and then gravity does the rest in delivering it to Coventry. The River Avon can be seen flowing across the middle, but the most striking object here is the M5 motorway. The large roundabout is junction 8, its junction with the M50, and beyond the junction are Strensham Services, southbound and a little further on, northbound.

A field and poplar trees
The field is called Lucy's Acre, though it larger than an acre. My father used to rent this field and he planted the poplar trees in the early 1970s. Here is the same field in October 2021.
