Key House at No. 9 the High Street in Tewkesbury and it takes its name from the large 19th century key hanging on the front. The building dates from the early 16th century, but it was heightened about a century later, around 1610. The building is distinctive due to its two nodding gables. Today the premises is the Halifax, though it used to be a traditional hardware shop called Miles and Carter.

This early 19th century building, numbers 3 and 4 High Street, houses ground floor shops and flats to the floors above. Built in brick with a tile roof. Founded in Saxon times, the town thrived and there are many medieval and Tudor buildings including Tewkesbury Abbey, bought by the townspeople to use as their parish church.
