Cottages, High Street, Newent
Amazingly free of traffic at this time. Parked cars on the left make this a real bottleneck at times.

High Street, Newent
I had visited Newent to get some cameras repaired at the excellent RS Photographic - http://www.rs-photographic.co.uk/ - a must visit for anyone interested in film cameras. The camera I used to take this, a Voigtlander Bessamatic from the late 1950s, was suffering from a sticking shutter, but contained a film I needed to use up before having it fixed. This is one of the shots I took to finish the film off.

High Street building in use as offices. It is located next door to The Malt House http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3063783 out of shot on the right. The brackets on the front wall suggest that The Old Malt House may once have been a pub.
