High Street, Newent
I had visited Newent to get some cameras repaired at the excellent RS Photographic - http://www.rs-photographic.co.uk/ - a must visit for anyone interested in film cameras. The camera I used to take this, a Voigtlander Bessamatic from the late 1950s, was suffering from a sticking shutter, but contained a film I needed to use up before having it fixed. This is one of the shots I took to finish the film off.

Redwood House
Former public library and council offices, but originally the Rectory. Splendid 18th century five-bay house, added to in 1865-6 by William Chick of Hereford. He built on the large extension on the left. It gives an indication of how grand the vicar of Newent was in times past.
