Common land at The Pludds
The sight of free range sheep in this part of the Forest of Dean has become a thing of the past since a crackdown on the welfare standards in recent years has led to their culling. See Image taken in 2009.
The turned-over soil seen here is a result of the vast increase in the population of wild boar in the forest.
