Studio Cinema, Coleford
Located on the west side of High Street next door to the Tourist Information Centre. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3258855
Formerly a drill hall built in 1906 for the volunteer corps, the building's use as a cinema began with Magic Lantern shows. A Magic Lantern projects pictures on slides, or a similar medium, onto a screen.

An 18th century, Grade II listed building and former home of metallurgist, David Mushet. He created the Dark Hill Ironworks. His son Robert perfected the Bessemer Process for making steel.
