Sculpture outside Lydney Library
A nearby plaque records that this is one of several sculptures created by young people from Lydney between October 1998 and August 1999. The sculptures are the result of a partnership between the County Library, Arts & Museums Service, the Environment Agency, Artshare(Gloucestershire) and Gloucestershire Youth & Community Service. The sculptures were officially unveiled by Valerie Hobman, Mayor of Lydney, on October 25th 1999.

Bream Road pay & display car park, Lydney
Parking here is free today, a Sunday. A nearby notice states that charges are payable from 8am to 6pm on Mondays-Saturdays. In late May 2016, it's 20 pence for up to 2 hours, 60 pence for up 3 hours, 80 pence for up to 4 hours or £1.60 for all day. Free parking for Blue Badge holders at any time - the badge must be displayed on the vehicle.
