NEW Inclosure Stone, Main Road, Viney Hill, Forest of Dean
Just South of the road under electricity wire (wooden poles). The stone marks the Old Croft No 3 Enclosure and the height of 433.4ft Above Seal Level, or would but: it has been moved 38ft NW from its original location, the replacement BM was on the base of the metal pylon over the road which was not found in the declared position. Inscription: 1844 / Old Croft / Enclosure Nᴼ2 / A. R. P / [?] 0 2 / [L]incoln C. Comm Milestone Society National ID: tbc
