Railway spur NNW of Yorkley Road level crossing, Parkend
Parkend is the northern terminus of the heritage Dean Forest Railway. The spur contains points so that a locomotive at the front of a train in Parkend station (a few metres behind the camera) can change tracks, pass by the train, then use similar points near the other end of the station to switch tracks again, to be attached to what was the back of the train, for the return journey.
