St Catharine's Church, London Road, Gloucester
Very much Victorian in concept, it was not actually built until 1912-1915. Designed by the Gloucester-based architect Walter B Wood (1852–1926) for the Gloucester Church Extension Society and built by Gloucester firm James Byard & Sons. The design provided for a tower and spire which were never added.
It was built at a central location for the parish to replace a church that had been built as recently as 1868, but in a less convenient location. This was demolished in 1921. Listed Grade II; the churchyard wall, railings and gates are Listed separately.

Remains of the Chapel of St Mary Magdalen
All that remains of the Chapel of St Mary Magdalen is the chancel. The chapel was built in the 12th century in a Norman and style and served the nearby St Mary Magdalen's Hospital which was probably founded for lepers. The nave of the chapel was demolished in 1861, while the hospital buildings were demolished soon afterwards.
