Sharpness Docks - gate No. 3
One of the entrances from the public road that passes the docks. The old warehouse in the background is a survivor from the docks' opening in the 1870s. A quiet Sunday afternoon in January was an ideal time for a walk around the publicly accessible parts of the docks.

Sharpness Silos Ltd
Seen from the public road past Sharpness Docks. The company of this name apparently closed in 2000. The grain silo was built in 1937 and has a capacity of approximately 10,000 tons.

Sharpness Docks
Still commercially active and plenty of interest. I had a Sunday afternoon mooch and while some areas are clearly disbarred to the public other areas are accessible and I wasn't challenged. It was very peaceful and although a bit cool I had a pleasant afternoon.
