Approaching zig-zag bend

Old milestone, Rockhampton
On the NE verge with a sizeable drainage ditch beyond. In this part of Gloucestershire such ditches are called "rhines" (with variations on spelling). There is a concrete bridge to the SE for access to the field. Damaged Benchmark on top representing 25.5 ft ASL.

This concrete bridge with guard rails, built across a rhine (drainage ditch) allows farm workers to access the field safely.
