Gloucester Livestock Market
Gloucester Livestock Market occupied this site on St Oswald's Road from 1955 until it closed around 2001 and the serious Foot and Mouth Disease outbreak. I used regularly visit this market with my father who was a farmer. I didn't think I had any pictures of it because my father didn't like me walking around with a camera at the market which is a pity now because all of this site has since been redeveloped and is now the St Oswald's Park shopping centre.

St Oswald's Market
The site of Gloucester's "new" cattle market, opened in the 1960s to replace the original cattle market in the city centre. Now this "new" market has, in its turn, been redeveloped into another huge out of town retail park.
