Kingswood Abbey Gatehouse
This early sixteenth century gatehouse is all that remains of a once large monastery. Kingswood Abbey was Cistercian and founded with monks from Tintern Abbey in the Wye valley in Monmouthshire, by William de Berkeley in 1139, it was dissolved in 1538.
