Former textile mill described as 'steam powered in 1817'. Now dwellings with a catholic church adjoining one end. It was snowing in Yorkshire where I had planned to be but sunny in Gloucestershire.

The Old Town Meeting House
The Old Meeting House, still standing in Old Town, was the first of the Free Churches and was built between 1701 and 1703, although it has undergone certain changes since it was first erected. It is marked as PW on the OS map but is not currently in use for worship (http://wotton-under-edge.com/worship - Wotton-under-Edge Town Council).
