Spouthouse Lane, Cam
Viewed from the Chapel Street/Station Road end. I didn't investigate whether the spouthouse still existed, partly because I don't exactly know what a spouthouse is.
There are at least two other Spouthouse Lanes in England.

Cam Mills, Dursley
Still a working textile mill making baizes for tennis balls and snooker tables to name two use. Operated by Winterbotham, Strachan & Playne in conjunction with Lodgemore Mill, Stroud. Much of the mill appears relatively modern and although I have photographs of the old fulling mill section I fear it may have gone. On the River Cam and at least originally used water power.
This view is the rear side and end of the office block with some of the older works buildings to the right.

Former bakehouse and post office, Cam
Now a private residence, 22 Chapel Street's previous uses include post office and bakehouse.

Cam Mills
The fine office block that has Winterbotham & Hunt Ltd in relief. It is now operated by WSP (Winterbotham, Strachan & Playne) and is still in use as a textile mill producing baize for tennis balls and snooker tables among other uses. Although an old site, much is relatively modern and uninspiring. Possibly the best bit - the old fulling section - was not apparent and may have gone.
