The Market House, Dursley
The Market House and Town Hall stands in the Market Place in the centre of Dursley and is passed by the Cotswold Way long distance footpath. According to Pevsner the building dates from 1738. A statue of Queen Anne can be seen on the east front and on the south south is the Coat of Arms of the Estcourt family.

Blue Cross charity shop, Dursley
On the left is Dursley Cobblers. On the right is Bramleys greengrocers. The central shop is a Blue Cross charity shop, at 25-27 Parsonage Street, The proceeds of the sale of donated items at Blue Cross charity shops help finance Blue Cross UK, a charity dedicated to helping sick, injured and homeless pets. Blue Cross traces its origins to 1897 when a group of animal lovers founded Our Dumb Friends League (the original name for Blue Cross) to care for working horses on the streets of London. In 1906, they opened their first animal hospital in Victoria, London, believed to be the first of its kind in the world.
