Overflow car park, Blooms Garden Centre, Haresfield
The field is on the west side of the garden centre, at the edge of the M5 motorway, on which vehicles can be seen in the background. There was only one car parked in this muddy field in the early afternoon on the last Sunday before Christmas 2012.

This new building was opened in 2005 replacing a traditional 1970's-built business which was known for some time as Jardinerie. Blooms are now owned by Wyevale.

Gloucestershire Energy From Waste Facility
The Energy from Waste facility now under construction at Javelin Park near Gloucester is expected to be operational by July 2019. It will combust 190,000 tonnes per year of residual waste (that is the waste left over after recycling and composting).
