Village pub located in The Street. A dark blue plaque on the wall records that the artist Sir Stanley Spencer CBE RA (1891-1959) stayed and worked here from 1939-1941.

A lost hart
The White Hart pub and boarding house has closed. Serving for many years, it finally called 'last orders' in late 2022.

Tudor style in Leonard Stanley
The village based some of its fortunes on cloth and weaving. Two cottages have a distinct style, although they aren't quite that old.

Leonard Stanley war memorial
The memorial lists the many men who left the village in the Great War and the sixteen who did not return. Later additions include those of the Second World War, and a solitary young soldier of Leonard Stanley who was killed in a bomb explosion in Northern Ireland in 1988, aged 20.
