Is it a boat? No - it's a fish and chip restaurant!

Forth and Clyde Canal and McMonagles Fish and Chip Shop
A view west along the Forth and Clyde canal in Clydebank. What looks like a boat moored in the canal is actually on land and is 'the world's only Fish and Chip "Sail Thro" takeaway'. It straddles 2 squares with the boundary line passing through the middle of the shop.

McMonagle's fish and chip boat
Lays claim to be the world's first "Sail Thru" chippy. Boats on the canal can sail up to the window on the left as we look at it, and place their orders. Also regularly voted one of the best chippies in Scotland - no mean feat, considering how many chippies there must be in Scotland!
