Rothesay Dock, Clydebank
With West College Scotland, a Further and Higher Education College for the west of Scotland. Also at Paisley and Greenock. The larger of the two moored boats is 'Britbo 1', a tank barge, built in 1989 and registered at Naantali, Finland [IMO8807387]. The nearer, smaller, is in the same colours, but I could not make out the name.

West College Scotland, Clydebank Campus
Not an optican illusion. Just a clever bit of architecture. West College Scotland is a further education institution. It is the regional college for West Scotland and serves the populations of Inverclyde, Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire and surrounding areas, as well as overseas students. (Wikipedia)

Garth Drive
Garth Drive follows part of the original line of a former, long-lost canal https://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/#zoom=15&lat=55.89827&lon=-4.40014&layers=5&b=1 - the Forth and Cart Canal. The canal was built to link the River Cart, just across the River Clyde with the Forth and Clyde Canal and to give access for goods from Paisley via the canals to Edinburgh in the east. Opened in 1840 the canal ran for half a mile, joining the Forth and Clyde Canal at Whitecrook. It was never very successful and closed in 1893. See https://canmore.org.uk/site/368255/forth-and-cart-canal for more information.
