At the foot of Neilston Road, where it becomes Kelburn Street, houses have been built on a brownfield site. There were buildings here before.

Old railway viaduct, Barrhead
This is all that remains of the once massive Kelburn Street viaduct which was part of a short line from Paisley via Barrhead to the Neilston line near Springhill.

Neilston Cemetery
When the cemetery was first extended, one of the earliest burials to take place in the newly-added portion of ground was that of Turner of Parkhouse, whose family enclosure can be seen in the foreground.
