Railway bridges over Eastwoodmains Road, Williamwood
The further bridge carries the Neilston to Glasgow railway line, while the nearer one is disused but once carried a short link (about a quarter of a mile) between that line and the one to East Kilbride.

Williamwood railway station, Renfrewshire
Opened in 1929 by the London Midland & Scottish Railway on the line from Glasgow and Newton to Ardrossan. Since 1964, the line has only gone as far west as Neilston. View south west towards Whitecraigs and Neilston.

Disused Railway Bridge Near Williamwood Station
This bridge is on the disused link from the Neilston line to the East Kilbride line. It obscures the bridge on the Neilston to Glasgow line which is a few metres beyond and still in use.
