Mains Castle View
Mains Castle is a 16th century tower house built on the site of an older structure. A period of decay followed the removal of the roof in the 18th century but the building has since been restored. Privately owned, it lies beside the James Hamilton Heritage Park but is not part of that facility. This view is taken from outside the square.
