Main Street shops, Rutherglen
The town of Rutherglen was incorporated into the city of Glasgow in 1975, but was returned to a town in its own right in 1996. Main Street is located in the heart of the town.

St Columbkille's RC Church
By renowned Scottish architectural firm Gillespie, Kidd and Coia in 1934-40. These sculptures of Christ and the evangelists are in niches above the main door and are possibly by Archibald Dawson.
