Very attractive path which looks very promising for a good walk. Unfortunately it ends rather abruptly a few hundred yards from this point.

The Memorial is to a local worthy, a doctor who did great things as only Victorian era doctors could. Maybe that is why there are so many monuments to them scattered across the country.
