Deserted scene at 8am on a Sunday morning. The pub on the right which is known to Bailliestonians as the Auld Hoose has changed its trading name again.

Baillieston, Main Street
The red brick faced building on the right with the cantilever type feature was built in 1939 and served as the council chamber and offices for the Ninth district council of Lanarkshire until 1975 after which the village was consumed by Glasgow in the local government re-organisation of that year.
