Broadwood Loch
Broadwood Loch was created in 1994 when a dam was built across the Mosswater.

Broadwood Loch Warnings
At the time the ice was approx 6 to 8ins thick. This water froze about 15 Dec 09 and was still frozen over on 4 Feb. 10.

Freezing Fowl on Broadwood Loch
Sub zero temperatures with a very small part of water not frozen. This loch is not a natural one it was created by damming the Moss Water burn in the 1990s.
