Killearn Glen has been part a managed woodland and in part an elegant garden for over 200 years. Today it is owned and managed by Stirling Council and mainly used by local people for walking.

Path, Killearn Glen
The trees were originally planted in the 18th century as part of a pleasure garden and woodland for the nearby Place of Killearn - once the most important house in the village, built in 1688. It fell into disrepair in the first half of the 19th century and was later demolished. Oaks, yews and Scots pines are amongst the species planted.
