The road to Glasgow
The road through Killearn from Stirling to Glasgow, as it passes the parish church (on the right). The road ahead takes a sharp turn to the left. Those who fail to take the corner will end up in the Black Bull Hotel (which can be seen in the distance) Image Above the trees on the right can be seen the top of an obelisk built in memory of George Buchanan, a tutor to James VI and also a former moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland (until recently he was the last elder (opposed to a minister) to hold this post).
