The Blane Valley Inn
The popular village inn closed in February 2020, due to difficult trading conditions. The owners had hoped to diversify, with extra accommodation at the rear, but this has not happened.

The hall dates from 1926, when it was built by the Edmonstone Family of Duntreath, and bequeathed to the villages of Blanefield and Strathblane for recreational use. It is primarily a village hall serving the two communities, but also available for anyone to hire.
