Lambing in progress?
Look carefully at the field. Has not seen a sheep in years. Just another non compliant sign.

Ungrazed field, Balmaha
Supposedly lambing was in progress, thus justifying the goml sign on the gate. The field has not seen a ewe for a year of two and is overgrown.

Balmaha Plantation
Woodland between Balloch and Conic Hill. Once there was quite a big conifer plantation further up the hill but it has now been felled.
