Work is currently suspended on construction of a block of new apartments on Craigdhu Road. This is due to restrictions on account of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. Such construction projects are not considered as 'essential work' and so have stopped.

Roundabout on B8050, Milngavie
Roundabout on B8050 (Craigdhu Road) where it meets Hunter Road and Chestnut Lane. East Dunbartonshire Council have sown a nice display of wild flowers in the middle.

Roundabout on Craigdhu Road
The roundabout is on the B8050 where it turns to the left. Hunter Road is on the right and Chestnut Lane is straight on. Wild flowers were sown here about five years ago and continue to make a pleasing display in early summer.

Flowery roundabout
In recent years East Dunbartonshire Council have planted many of their roundabouts with a colourful flower mix. Despite the fact it was raining at the time, the roundabout at the junction of Hunter Road and Craigdhu Road was looking bright and colourful.
