Juvenile rabbit
Young rabbits are known as kittens, but this one is probably just beyond that stage. It and another one were feeding on the grass verge beside a service road close to the railway. No doubt they had just hopped across the line from Lennox Park on the other side.

Train approaching Milngavie
British Rail Class 334 number 334 017 crossing the points from the single line section of track between Hillfoot and Milngavie as it approaches Milngavie station.
This end of the station has recently been extended. A five-month programme of work was undertaken by Network Rail in 2020. Both platforms have been lengthened from 141m to 205m to accommodate more trains. This will help improve performance by allowing the ‘stabling’ of trains and to allow some trains to have more time between arrival and departure.
The aim is to offer a more efficient and better performing service on the Glasgow North Electrics suburban line, which operates from Helensburgh and connects to the East Coast suburban network and the Argyle lines to Lanarkshire.
