After the snow, Rowan Drive
Over 28th February to 1st March there were large numbers of snow showers here, leading to over 12 inches of snow over the area, aggravated by strong winds causing extensive drifts. The easterly wind blew the snow off the eastern and northern side of house roofs, but the snow built up on the western side, in this instance resulting in overhanging cornices of snow.
