Former Hawkhead Asylum, Glasgow
Built 1890-95 with additions in 1903, it later became known as Leverndale Hospital. Although a smaller scale hospital continues to function, the buildings pictured (with the exception of the water tower) have been converted for residential use. The memorial stone records it having been laid by Daniel Munro Esq, chairman of Govan Combination Parochial Board, 3rd October 1893.
