A'Body's Hospital
One of the artworks in the Oor Wullie's BIG Bucket Trail. A'Body's Hospital, created by Neil Slorance is located inside Silverburn Shopping Centre.
A'Body's Hospital' is a piece featuring portraits of patients, families and staff who come and go from the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow. The piece was painted on location to produce an interactive experience while the work was being completed. The end result celebrates the patients, staff and showcases the diverse community who attend the Royal Hospital for Children which is supported by the Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity. The Beast, Silverburn
This sculpture outside Silverburn shopping centre was made by Scots artist Kerry Stewart.
When it was installed she apparently said: "The Beast is the very antitheses of Silverburn which is clean, sleek and desirable. This is very hairy, almost dirty looking, and is designed to earth the shoppers. "I wanted to make a big hulk of a sculpture people can lift children on to for photos."
