A 'Cunarder' at Mosspark
Glasgow continued to build trams even after World War II. They were bogie cars similar to the Coronations (in fact, the official name was 'Coronation Mark II') but with an improved front appearance. They became known as 'Cunarders'. Car No 1330 is seen here at Mosspark.

'Coronation' tram on Mosspark Boulevard
The Leeds trams finished in November 1959, and those in Sheffield not long afterwards, leaving England without any big-city trams. But in Scotland, Glasgow still had many tram routes. One of the most select areas the trams served was Mosspark on the south side of the city, where the trams had their own reserved track along the centre strip of Mosspark Boulevard. A 'Coronation' car dating from 1937 is seen here approaching the terminus.
