The tunnel is open, and this way. Actually this is an underpass under the A739 - the tunnel entrance is around the corner in another direction.

Northbound Clyde Tunnel, cyclists and pedestrians
Despite the best efforts of the signposts, I eventually found the way in. There is a pair of gates that have to be opened by somebody at the other end of a CCTV camera. Atmospheric!
