The main thoroughfare connecting Giffnock to Thornliebank, this road is usually busy in non-lockdown times. We look east towards Giffnock from near its lowest point.

Footpath to Robslee Drive
This was once a continuation of Robslee Drive, and some maps give the indication that it still is. It is now just a footpath leading from Burnfield Road to the bridge under the railway line, where it joins the current Robslee Drive. The path is lined on both sides by trees.

Open ground south of the railway
An area of open ground between a railway line to the north, Robslee Drive to the east, Thornliebank Resource Centre and houses to the south, and Eastwood New Cemetery (amongst the trees) to the west. The Auldhouse Burn cuts across the middle.
