Had the path not been frozen with frost, I could imagine that the path could be quite muddy at times.

Castlemilk and Cathkin Braes Park
The path at the bottom leads walkers from Ardencraig Road through a little bit of wood to the open part of the Cathkin Braes. Behind is the south edge of Catlemilk, with more of Glasgow and the Campsies beyond.

This gateway is on Ardencraig Road, close to the point where it meets Castlemilk Drive. Cathkin Braes Country Park was established in 1995.
