An attempt to replicate the first image for the square, photographed and submitted in 2005 Image Unfortunately it was impossible to access the origin viewpoint as there was a crop of beans in the way. This was taken looking through the gate, a few metres to the east.

A dinosaur in the bowling green
Not what you expect to see! The Bowling Green https://thebowlinggreen.org.uk/ is now a local green space and community hub in East Pollokshields on the corner of Maxwell Road and Kenmure Street. An event was going on in the space - hence the dinosaur.

A lush and quiet horticultural oasis on the south-side of Glasgow, the New Victoria Gardens have been tended as community allotments for 130 years. View is roughly south to Albert Drive church taking in Dr Jim's innovative roofing.
