Former Monteith Hotel
The former Monteith Hotel which dates from 1891 and is named after a former Glasgow Lord Provost is being renovated and converted to flats as the centrepiece of a new housing development between Monteith Row and London Road.

This building has seen better days. The ground floor shop units have been used for a variety of businesses over the last few years. Most recently it has been occupied by The Space: Scotland’s first Pay What You Decide Community Arts Venue and non-profit creative studios.
