Out of date signage
The sign on the wall directs people to 'R.H.S.C. and Q.M.H. Entrance'. The Royal Hospital for Sick Children (RHSC) closed in 2015; and the Queen Mother's Hospital (QMH) closed in 2010. The RHSC is now the West of Scotland Ambulatory Care Hospital.

West of Scotland Ambulatory Care Hospital
The West of Scotland Ambulatory Care Hospital provides a wide variety of healthcare services and clinics. It operates in what was previously the Royal Hospital For Sick Children. The services provided by the 'Sick Kids' Hospital transferred to the new Royal Hospital for Children on the other side of the Clyde in 2015. Viewed from the patient and visitor car park.

The rear of the Kelvin Hall
Seen from beside the West of Scotland Ambulatory Care Hospital. Beyond on the right is the tower of the University of Glasgow. Far left a new building for the University is under construction on the site of the former Western Infirmary. In the foreground the patient and visitor car park for the hospital appears empty (there were in fact a few cars parked just out of shot to the right).

Car park, West of Scotland Ambulatory Care Hospital
Just a handful of cars are parked in the patient and visitor car park for the hospital. This is mainly because there are very limited numbers of patients visiting the hospital just now, due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) restrictions. The distinctive, recently replaced roofs of the Kelvin Hall can be seen on the left, with the towers of the University of Glasgow and Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum behind.
